Rossbrook House and the Foundation were grateful to receive just over 17,000 entries into June’s Great Canadian Giving Challenge. History of the Dinner The first No Child Alone Dinner was held in January 2016, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Rossbrook House Inc.. It was the first ever dinner of this calibre in its 40-year history…. And was a tad different than the events previously held for participants. Hilary Druxman creates a ‘Good Works’ necklace for Rossbrook House in collaboration with a 14-year-old Rossbrook House youth. Hilary Druxman Design gives back to the community through the creation of her Good Works pieces. In partnership with several organizations, Hilary creates a one-of-a-kind necklace or bracelet that represents the spirit of the non-profit. Hilary spent several months with Rossbrook House youth, 14-year-old Breanna Mink. Going through many inspiring sketches of Breanna’s, Hilary and her team selected one that represents the guiding principle of Rossbrook House; No child who does not want to be alone, should ever have to be.

Farewell Concert
The Barrel Boys and The O’Pears were in Winnipeg to perform at the West End Cultural Centre. They also gave a performance at Rossbrook House in honour of Sister Bernadette O’Reilly and Sister Margaret Hughes. They had the crowd clapping and singing along, and up on their feet. It was a special evening. As Rossbrook House Executive Director Phil Chiappetta said, “The Sisters wanted something simple and at Rossbrook.
