  Thank you Winnipeg Paramedics & friends!   Winnipeg Paramedics put out a call to stuff the bus and pack an ambulance full of toys and warm clothing for Rossbrook House children and youth! The response was overwhelming.   Two filled ambulances arrived at Rossbrook House with dozens of volunteers and Santa! Participants received gifts, and a hot meal.     A line of volunteer students as well as the children of Rossbrook House, helped to carry in the DOZENS of boxes and bags that included gifts for the participants, plus other donations of socks, warm outerwear, craft supplies, beading

50 excited shoppers took a trip to Toys R Us with $50 each to spend! Children and youth from Rossbrook House were accompanied by youth from Vincent Massey Collegiate Key Club on a shopping trip December 3, 2022, thanks to the Kiwanis Club of Winnipeg. Kiwanis Club of Winnipeg generously arranged for 50 children and youth to go on a shopping trip- for themselves- to Toys R Us. The annual Rossbrook House Pow Wow is a cherished tradition. So many dancers have so many great memories from the last (almost) 40 years. Click here to watch our video The beginning…   In the early 1980s Millie Stonechild began to work with a group of students at Eagles’ Circle, sharing teachings and culture. In the process, the students began to learn pow wow dancing.  The first Rossbrook House Pow Wow was held in 1982 in a church basement with taped music playing on a cassette player.
