It’s Christmas Time…

Every December Rossbrook House (along with sponsors Boston Pizza and Shindico) throw a party for ages 6-11. (The Intermediates, ages 12 and up, are treated to their own party) The Energy Plus party includes games, pizza, gifts and a visit from Santa. And he is very popular at Rossbrook House! oh-4 The annual Fall Open House at Rossbrook House was a wonderful mixture of sights and sounds! The students of the 3 alternative school programs from Wi Wabigooni, Eagles’ Circle and Rising Sun, and the kids from the after school program, Learning Always, sold their hand-made crafts and baking.

The No Child Alone dinner

While holding events for kids of all ages is a pretty straight forward activity at Rossbrook House, it was the first time in 40 years that we held a gala dinner party. In spite of that, we knew that celebrating 40th years of servicing the neighborhood children and youth would be well worth the effort.
