What started as a summer job in 2016 has turned into full time employment for Tristan Malcolm. This young individual has brought his exceptional planning skills into the Summer Youth Leadership Circle program, and the After School Leadership program. He also brings his gentle and creative personality to the Learning Always team. While he may be someone who is on the quieter side, his dedication speaks volumes.
Before coming to work at Rossbrook House, Tristan took a culinary arts and baking training program at Red River College while in high school and once we tasted one of his cakes… well, let’s just say that Rossbrook House no longer has to buy cakes for our special events! And his butter cream icing rivals Martha Stewart.
Tristan is enrolling in the Professional Baking and Patisserie program at Red River College this summer while still working evenings at Rossbrook House.
We’re so happy to be able to help him to achieve his goals and are pleased to award Tristan the Sister Bernadette O’Reilly Scholarship (2018).
