Nicole Fontaine was introduced to Rossbrook House when she was just 7 years old by her best friend. Nicole was also a junior and senior staff and is a former Rising Sun student.
Future
September, 2018 Nicole returned to school, enrolled in the University of Manitoba, Aboriginal Nursing Cohort Initiative to obtain her Bachelor of Nursing degree.
We are pleased to support Nicole with her future goals and happy to award her the David Henderson Scholarship, 2018 and the Sister Bernadette O’Reilly Scholarship in 2019 and 2020.

2021 Scholarship
Nicole Fontaine returned to school in September 2018. She is enrolled in her 4th year at the University of Manitoba, and her 1st term with the College of Nursing.
Last winter she had her first placement at Victoria General Hospital and she says she loved it!

Nicole is a hard-working young woman who supports herself and her four beautiful children. Her children are her motivation.

She is enrolled in her final year in the College of Nursing at the University of Manitoba and expects to graduate in 2023. We are pleased to award Nicole a Sister Bernadette O’Reilly Scholarship.
