It was a full house when we celebrated students in the Rossbrook House community during the annual Open House and awarded a variety of scholarships.

 

Congratulations to:

Alexandra: the Judith Finlayson Memorial Scholarship.

Samantha: the Gikendaaso Scholarship.

Amber: the Evan James O’Reilly Memorial Scholarship.

Macy and Kaydence: the David Henderson Scholarship.

April, Chandra, Deandra, and Deanna: the Sister Bernadette O’Reilly Scholarship.

Wyatt: the Sister Margaret Hughes Scholarship.

Sarah and Georgina: the Sister Geraldine MacNamara Scholarship.

Several graduates from the three off-campus school programs received awards as well. It was a wonderful ceremony with several volunteer presenters that was capped off with an honour song.

Thank you to the Rossbrook House Foundation, the family foundations, and other generous supporters who make these scholarships possible.

We look forward to being a part of these hard-working students’ journeys and wish them continued success in their studies.

Open House 2023

Thank you to all who came out for the annual Open House on Thursday. The three schools sold their hand-made crafts and homemade baking to our guests!

Wi Wabigooni students were selling holiday crafts. Eagles’ Circle had tote bags and magnets with student-created art. Rising Sun sold out their beaded pins, furry keychains and earrings. There were ribbon skirts and art as well as Hilary Druxman designed Rossbrook House necklaces.

If you missed it, plan to attend next year! The highlight is speaking with the students and getting to know a little bit about the school programs.
