Rossbrook House Foundation Board & Committees

Rossbrook House Foundation strives, through various fundraising activities and stewardship of investments, to meet or exceed the needs of children and youth while embracing the spirit of Rossbrook House.

The Foundation is comprised of a volunteer board, and committee members, who believe in the mission and vision of Rossbrook House, and are supported by a team including the Foundation’s Donor Relations Officer, Stephanie Lambert and the Office of Executive Director, Patty Mainville. The three standing committees are comprised of both board and non-board volunteers. They are: 

  • Fund Development
  • Finance & Investment
  • Nominating & Governance

The Fund Development Committee serves to satisfy Rossbrook House Foundation’s commitment to fulfilling the financial needs of Rossbrook House through fundraising activities. Additionally, the Committee invests in the future through donor stewardship & growing the Planned Giving program. 

The Finance & Investment Committee assists with ensuring the Foundation remains fiscally responsible. Including working on the preparation of the annual budget, the management of the Foundation’s funds, and the long-term financial plans of the Foundation. The Committee is chaired by the Foundation Treasurer and guided by a prudent Investment Policy. 

The Nominating & Governance identifies to the board those individuals who it considers suitable candidates to join the Board and standing committees, bearing in mind the importance of reflecting the identity and needs of the community which the Foundation serves. They also from time to time review the by-laws and performance of the Board, and report back/make recommendations accordingly.
