ACM 2025

Annual Community Meeting 2025 was held on June 26 at Rossbrook House. Thank you to all who attended and joined us for breakfast.   Larry McIntosh, Chair of Rossbrook House Foundation, shared a report about the past year’s activities and the wonderful news of the Foundation having raised a million dollars for Rossbrook House programs and operations. Summer Fun 2025

Summer 2025 has officially begun at Rossbrook House. Our doors will remain open 24 hours until the end of August. Ages 6 to 24 can drop in for activities, outings, daily meals and more! Camp Maskwa will be happening for two weeks in July for the youth. (Participants should pre-register with staff.)   The playroom is open for ages 6-11.. There are video games, crafts, board games, pool and a safe place to be- all summer.         Outings to the beach and local pools and parks will happen as well!         Children and youth

Rossbrook House scholarships are intended to support the hopes and dreams of our community. We are now accepting applications for Rossbrook House scholarships, presented at the Open House in November.   Are you enrolled in a post-secondary program of any kind? If you are a present/former participant or student of one of the Rossbrook House schools, a Rossbrook House staff, or parent of a participant, you may be eligible to receive a scholarship. Support Summer Programming at Rossbrook House! Click here to donate today! With your support, we can ensure that children and youth will continue to find a safe place in Rossbrook House all summer and for generations to come.   Twenty-six-year-old Cheyenne Campbell started attending Rossbrook House before the age minimum. Her mother, Audrey, was a full-time staff (and still fills in casual when she isn’t teaching) and brought her children to Rossbrook House events. No Child Alone Dinner 2025- oh what a night!

Rossbrook House Foundation hosted the 2025 No Child Alone Dinner on April 24 at RBC Convention Centre. 320 guests enjoyed a delicious meal while learning more about Rossbrook House programs. Participants from Rossbrook House began the night with a Grand Entry. The evening raised awareness and funds for programs. The silent auction was a huge success with over 35 prize packages. Thank you to all who donated these items!   There was also a fun auction to raise funds the Young Mothers’ program. Barry Kay hosted this ‘fund-a-need’ portion of the evening. Show Your Heart Radiothon 2025

    Thank you to all who helped to make our first-ever radiothon a success! We were thrilled to be able to share wonderful memories, inspiring stories and  information about our programs with listeners, many of whom had not heard about Rossbrook House before. Winter Break 2024

Open 24 Hours All Winter Break! Rossbrook House keeps its doors open 24 hours from December 20, 2024 until January 4, 2025.   Children and youth, ages 6 to 24, can drop in for activities, games, crafts, daily meals and safe rides home.     Hello and thank you for being a Rossbrook House supporter. My history with Rossbrook House began long before I was born. My grandma, Vera Missyabit, was instrumental in building the early Rossbrook House community. Her home was a second Rossbrook House to many of the early participants. There was always something good to eat, and lessons to learn about generosity and caring for the community.  She was a beloved source of strength. I consider myself very lucky to have had her as a role model, showing me that we can all make a difference with some kindness. I
