Rossbrook House COVID update

I hope you are doing well in these stressful times, finding ways to stay healthy and positive.

With COVID cases increasing in the city it is clear that the Eagles’ Circle alternative school program, usually on site at Rossbrook House, will remain at its main campus of Hugh John Macdonald school.  This will allow Rossbrook to respond to the need in our community for 24 hour, 7 days a week services.

Your support got us through the spring and summer of this pandemic; we’ve enjoyed a little breather through the fall and will be ready to resume 24 hours operations, everyday, starting October 30.

We have the funding and resources to operate with these extended hours until the new year and will apply for additional COVID related funds to carry on in 2021. In addition, we will focus our December private fundraising campaign on keeping the doors open as our response to COVID and the cold weather.

Children and youth in our community will continue to have a safe place to belong, play, learn and become… so that no child who does not want to be alone, should ever have to be.

For now, think of making a contribution to the United Way Campaign on behalf of all our agencies, and come December think of us directly at Rossbrook House.

Stay safe and stay warm!
