Plans for Fall 2020

Rossbrook House has remained open for children and youth, 24 hours, since the school closures on March 16, 2020.   It is our new record for staying open 24/7.  Five and a half months!

Rossbrook House has returned to a regular schedule.

As of August 30, 2020, we have returned to weekday hours of 8am to Midnight.

Every Weekend and all school holidays we are open 24 hours.

What hasn’t changed:

After school programming will happen, as usual, with appropriate precautions in terms of size of groups, social distancing and masks when required. Safe rides home continue.

The kitchen will continue to provide daily weekday lunches and weekend brunches along with the early suppers (after-school meals).

What has changed (for now):

Eagles’ Circle alternative school program will not be back on-site at Rossbrook House this September.  They will be at the main campus (Hugh John MacDonald School) until the COVID-19 climate is deemed acceptable to return to Rossbrook.

The building continues to be open as a drop-in for younger non- school age children when accompanied by a parent or guardian, weekdays between 10am and 3pm, also for youth 17-24 years old.
