Congratulations to our Graduates

The Class of 2021!

We are pleased to share that there are 12 students graduating grade 12 from Rising Sun for 2021!

Autumn Batangan has worked hard this year to graduate despite COVID-19 restrictions and working at Rossbrook House. She has been a pleasure to work with and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

Leo Beam has been at Rising Sun for the last two years and we enjoyed getting to know him and his great artistic talent! We wish Leo all the best in his post-secondary classes, where he will be taking classes to become an Educational Assistant.

Alenah Bradburn has been a student at Rising Sun for two years and has been a great addition to the program. She has overcome many challenges to graduate, and we are very proud of her.

Mackaylah Gerard-Roussin started at Rising Sun this year and has worked exceptionally hard to finish her courses. Mackaylah has a bright future ahead of her and we wish her all the best!

Serenity has been a student at Rising Sun for the past two years. This year she made school a priority and her hard work has paid off. We wish her all the best in her future goals!

Charley Kent is a long time Rossbrook House schools’ student. He started at Wi Wabigooni, attended Eagles’ Circle and is now a graduate of Rising Sun. We will miss Charley’s kind spirit and wish him all the best!

Tristen Maxwell started at Rising Sun last school year, but this year we discovered that he is very gifted at making moccasins. We wish him all the best in his future!

Kyra Sanderson started at Rising Sun last school year. Kyra has overcome many challenges in order to graduate and has been accepted at the University of Winnipeg for the fall, where she will be taking courses in Criminal Justice. We wish her all the best!!

Angelina Shingoose started at Rising Sun this year and did most of her work online. We have enjoyed getting to know her through her work and wish her all the best in her future plans.

Dredyne Stevenson was a student at Eagles’ Circle and is now graduating from Rising Sun. He has plans to join the military and we are sure he will do great things! We wish him all the best!

Samantha Sumner has been a student at Rising Sun for three years. She has worked hard to graduate, so she can pursue a career in hairdressing. She wants to be able to help out her siblings by working hard and we are sure she will be able to do this! All the best, Samantha!

Eagles’ Circle Grade 9 Grad

Dee-Jay Ross asked a lot questions during his time at Eagles’ Circle. Sometimes his questions were about the topics that were being covered in class. Other times the questions seem to come out of nowhere. The point is, he was always curious about something and wanted to learn. Congratulations to Dee-Jay.

We celebrate and congratulate all of these hard-working graduates!

Thank you to Eagles’ Circle instructor Robyn for taking the grad photos.

Congratulations to the 5 Grade 6 graduates from Wi Wabigooni school including Tyrelle, Teegan and Memphis.

Thank you to Wi Wabigooni instructor Laurie for taking the photos.

We cheer you on and applaud you for all of your accomplishments over this past year which was challenging, to say the least! We wish you all a safe summer and all the best in the future!
