The David Henderson Scholarship, of the Bruce and Ryan Henderson Family Foundation, honours one of Rossbrook House’s earliest supporters; Mr. David Henderson. David knew Sister Geraldine MacNamara when Rossbrook was just starting up in 1976.

The Henderson Scholarship for 2019 was awarded to Chasity Johnson.

Chasity

Chasity has been enrolled in the Community Support Worker program at Robertson College since January of 2019 while working full-time at Rossbrook House as a youth worker.

Passion for working with children

She has been working at Rossbrook after graduating from high school in 2016. Her passion for working with children is very evident. She quickly became a favourite of the regular participants. If you’re looking for Chasity, she is likely surrounded by a group of kids.

Chasity graduated from the program in December of 2019 and is now the Energy Plus Coordinator at Rossbrook House
