New Van Campaign

Thank you to all who supported this fundraising campaign. Rossbrook House is humbled by the generosity of its supporters. We have surpassed our goal of $50,000 in under a month and an order has been placed for the new van. Vans are an integral part of Rossbrook House. Not only does Rossbrook House provide outings for the children and youth, ages 6-24, but also makes sure that these participants get home safely each evening. Amazing Women

March 8 is International Women’s Day. It’s a day to celebrate women’s achievements. It’s safe to say that Rossbrook House has had many amazing women sharing their ideas and their time with the children and youth in the community. Including the admirable Sister Geraldine MacNamara who helped neighborhood youth to start Rossbrook House. Making Science Fun

In 2018 until early 2020, several times each year, children from Rossbrook House were participating in a special after-school program at the Youth BIOLab Jeunesse at the St. Boniface Hospital Albrechtsen Research Centre. The Youth BIOLab is a unique learning experience, designed as a space for students and teachers in grades 5-12 to explore and experience real biomedical science in a world-class research centre.
